10:50 AM ET 03.02 | Spurs coach Gregg Popovich said Tony Parker would likely be out "a while" after rolling his left ankle on Sacramento guard Isaiah Thomas' foot following a layup with 4:40 left in the third quarter. Early indications are that "a while" could mean a couple of weeks. Parker's injury might not be a blow devastating to the Spurs' push to hold on to the top slot in the West against hard-charging Oklahoma City, two games behind in the loss column. But it certainly doesn't help.

QUOTE(#3):

Bad timing with OKC coming on strong but not devastating. The Spurs always find a way to compensate and keep winning. It's about their system more than any single player.

But this single player makes everything else go against quality opponents

The Spurs have been a bit shorthanded due to injuries. The good news is Gary Neal is back now and Corey Joseph was called up from D-League (and got some minutes last night).

Look for more of Manu to be the playmaker. Update on TP is that he will be out 3 weeks.

And the latest news is now 4 weeks.
