06:28 PM ET 03.03 | The Cleveland Browns are looking to sign center Alex Mack to a contract extension. Mack has played every game since being drafted in the first round in 2009, and is one of the premier centers in the league. He has one year left on his rookie deal and is due a base $3.7 million salary in 2013. Still only 27, Mack won't come cheap, though he may be open to taking a hometown discount.

Good, Thomas signed the long term before last year. Keep Mack for awhile and maybe we can develop some guards. I would say Mack is in the top 7 to 8 centers in the league. Along with Schwartz who was probably the best rookie tackles in last years draft.

Mack would be even better if he wasn't picking up the slack for the guards next to him!
