What happened? Can someone fill me in? I thought Ryan was the darling executive who turned the Rangers into a powerhouse?

Sounds like Nolan's ego is getting in the way.

In the article yesterday on T&R I ask the question what about Ryan since there was no mention of his name in the article. It looks like the Rangers are blaming Ryan for not winning the World Series two years in a roll and losing free agents to other teams.

He does have that lightning rod aura about him.

They could demote him to 5th starter.

You know Nolan Ryan is going to speak his mind. I think I'd keep him and resolve the conflict some other way. Let them trade shots and see who is left standing.

I thought the same when I read that thread. My exact thoughts were: "I thought Ryan was the guy calling the shots in Texas."

He's a figure head. He's owns a very small percentage of the team.

.....my sources tell me ryan health issues have had his family try to get him to consider semi- retirement.....plus daniel and his kids are gone unless they ae givin more power and control....no blame games here....

The more I read Randy Galloway, the more I think he's a putz ... name your sources jackass or keep your mouth shut ...

Hell - he's probably the reason they GOT to the WS.......

the rangers totally sucked before ryan..... makes sense - get rid of he man that helped make them contenders!
