04:03 PM ET 03.04 | Unable to secure a job in the NBA, veteran big man Brian Cook will sign with Piratas de Quebradillas of the National Superior Basketball League in Puerto Rico. According to his agent, Greg Nunn, the contract allows Cook to opt-out if he receives an opportunity to return the NBA before the end of the season. Cook hung on in the league for nine years thanks to his shooting ability and spent time with the Los Angeles Clippers and Washington Wizards last season. Though he's no longer eligible to play in the postseason, it's possible some team could look his way for depth going forward.
