04:22 PM ET 03.04 | Carolina Hurricanes goaltender Cam Ward is expected to miss six-to-eight weeks due to a MCL sprain sustained in the team???s game against the Florida Panthers on Sunday. Ward sustained the injury after Panthers forward Jack Skille collided with Hurricanes defenseman Justin Faulk, which sent Faulk into Ward. This is a significant blow for the Hurricanes, as Ward has long been the team???s No. 1 goaltender. Backup Dan Ellis relieved Ward and will likely take over as the starter. Ellis was originally scheduled to get the start on Sunday but requested off because he was battling flu symptoms. The Hurricanes will recall Justin Peters from the American Hockey League.

No, they don't. I was stunned when the Blues traded him. I think he was still just 20-21 at the time.
