Michigan State hires Jim Bollman, reorganizes staff

06:17 PM ET 03.04 | Michigan State head coach Mark Dantonio announced the addition of Jim Bollman to his staff on Monday. Bollman will serve as co-offensive coordinator and coach the tight ends. Dantonio also did some restructuring within his staff -- quarterbacks coach Dave Warner has been promoted to co-offensive coordinator and will coach the running backs; defensive coordinator Pat Narduzzi is now the associate head coach; and Brad Salem is being moved to quarterbacks coach.

I have to say, I'm more than a bit puzzled by these moves. If I had to pick one area of the offense that needed help, it would have been the O-line, yet Dantonio left that alone. The other area that needed help was wide receiver, and he left that alone. Still, Dantonio is the best we've had since Duffy, so I'll watch and hope he's right.
