06:25 PM ET 03.04 | come to an end. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the Vikings released Jenkins on Monday, days before having to pay Jenkins a roster bonus. Minnesota signed Jenkins to a three-year contract worth $8.75 million prior to the 2011 season. Jenkins did not prove to be a difference-maker with Minnesota. Jenkins appeared in 27 games during his two seasons with Minnesota -- starting 15 of them -- and caught just 78 passes for 915 yards and five touchdowns. Had the Vikings retained Jenkins, they would have been forced to pay a roster bonus worth nearly $2.5 million.

This guy has always been a stinker, real question is why was he ever hired in the first place after that Falcons stint.
