Tide looks to raid Louisiana's top talent

08:19 AM ET 03.05 | The recruiting class of 2014 in Louisiana is drawing rave reviews, thanks to three prospects ranking high on a number of top 25 lists. Running back Leonard Fournette of New Orleans-St. Augustine and offensive lineman Cameron Robinson of West Monroe are consensus top 10 prospects nationally. Monroe-Neville safety Laurence Jones is in the top 25 of all three major recruiting services ... Les Miles has a golden opportunity to land a recruiting class for the ages in 2014, but he has to find a way to keep Nick Saban out of Louisiana -- and he knows it. The biggest battle -- and the one LSU can least afford to lose -- may be over [Leonard Fournette], who ran for 2,136 yards and 31 touchdowns in 2012.

Saban's Bama is going to be a tough competitor to all who recruit in their targeted regions. Fournette has some impressive 2012 stats.

I'm hearing that Fournette will be verrrrrrryyy tough to pull away from LSU. He goes to that same school Tim Williams went to, but LSU has been all over Fournette early and I think he's been a lifelong fan of LSU's.

Leonard Fournette is a lock to go to LSU, at least until Saban unlocks him to Bama. That is one of the main reasons LSU fans were so mad when Saban went to Alabama. He is a great recruiter and the best coach in College Football.
