05:11 PM ET 03.05 | Before injuring his knee in an awkward fall during the Knicks victory over the Cavs on Monday, Carmelo Anthony had been dealing with soreness and tightness in his right knee for several weeks. While an MRI revealed no significant damage, he had considered sitting out the game. "Before the game I felt like I was dragging my right leg," Carmelo told reporters afterward. "Maybe that one particular possession I didn't really have the control I wanted and kind of tripped over my other leg." He played only 14 minutes on Monday, missing the entirety of New York's dramatic second-half comeback. He doesn't expect the injury to be serious, but his status for their game on Wednesday against the Pistons is still in doubt.

Funny while watching the game I was telling my brother Melo looks sluggish hes dragging his legs he kept jogging. There was a play in the 1st qrtr where the Knicks got the rebound and looked to push and melo put his head down attempted run about 3 steps and then just walked instead he was the last one up the floor. less then 10 minutes hes down with a knee injury. Hopefully its nothing rest wont cure. I say sit out wednesday we got OKC thursday let STAT start and go off on the Pistons.
