Auburn DT Devaunte Sigler dismissed from team

12:38 PM ET 03.05 | The Auburn Tigers have dismissed defensive tackle Devaunte Sigler from the football team for an unspecified violation of team rules. Sigler never played a huge role for the Tigers, and appeared in only five games for them in 2012, making two tackles. Head coach Gus Malzahn released a brief statement on Friday, saying simply that "we have high standards for our players" and that "they will represent the team and Auburn the right way."

Malzahn gave Michael Dyer how many 2nd chances?
He was there when Dyer was found out to be providing a gun for a robbery and also smoking spice and they let him stay on the team for over a year, until they finally kicked him off. Then Malzahn let him go to Ark State and eventually had to kick him off. Makes you wonder how bad it has to be for someone like Michael Dyer to get kicked off.

Just an FYI for you guys. We released 4 kids a few days ago. We now have 24 schollys available for next year. My guess is we still stay in the range of 18-20 and keep the others for our last year of sanctions. So either Lane, or a new coach, will not have as big a reduction as the ncaa or pauley dee hoped. They can suck it!!!

A couple of them have had prior issues, and were not living up to the terms of their remaining on the team. I believe one has some serious academic issues, the last one I am not sure about.
