Richards is sore due to a hit administered by Buffalo Sabres forward Patrick Kaleta on Sunday afternoon. Kaleta hit Richards from behind and drove him head first into the boards. Kaleta was suspended five-games for the offense, while Richards would eventually return to the game. However, he experienced pain in the following days and was unable to practice on Monday. Once is alright, twice is a bother. But the third time you better watch out...

Torts probably is too busy explaining to Nash how he has to score less and block more shots. Torts would prefer the Rangers never enter the offensive zone. If the Rangers get an odd man rush he benches the 2nd guy for a period.
