05:18 PM ET 03.05 | On Monday, the NBA announced a preseason schedule that would feature eight games overseas. Eight teams will play in seven different countries -- Brazil, the Philippines, England, Spain, Turkey, China and Taiwan. Perhaps the most noteworthy is the double header between the Pacers and the Rockets, who are set to play in the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila on Oct. 10 and the Taipei Arena in Taipei on Oct. 13. The Phillipines has long had a rabid NBA fanbase, but a lack of a modern arena had prevented the league from scheduling a game there before. Taiwan, meanwhile, will be a bit a of return home for Houston guard Jeremy Lin, an Asian-American of Taiwanese descent. Lin's unique background helped make him an overnight international phenomenon last season, so it will be interesting to see his reception overseas.

These tickets are always crazy expensive.
I once checked for a game in London and you pay way too much for a boring pre-season game. I'm not that gullible so no thanks.
