05:20 PM ET 03.05 | Florida Panthers forward Stephen Weiss will miss the remainder of the 2013 season due to a wrist injury that requires surgery. Weiss has been dealing with the nagging injury all season and has decided to get the affected area fixed. He is expected to miss at least three months. This development is merely another blow to the injury-plagued Panthers who have been battling these issues all season. Weiss??? injury is a bit more impactful as he was expected to be a valuable trade asset at the deadline. Now, with him out for the year, the club will no longer be able to move him as a rental player to contending teams.
