Michigan QB Devin Gardner granted medical hardship waiver

05:20 PM ET 03.06 | Michigan quarterback Devin Gardner has been granted a medical hardship waiver for the 2010 season, which means he has two seasons of eligibility remaining. Gardner has been the next in line at quarterback for the Wolverines for several years now, and finally got a chance to start after Denard Robinson was injured last year. He did not disappoint, throwing 11 touchdown passes and five interceptions. He is a much better passer than Robinson, but still has plenty of mobility, as evidenced by his time at wide receiver at the beginning of 2012.

He's co-offensive coordinator and tight ends coach. Dave Warner moves from qb coach to co-offensive coordinator and running back coach. Warner will be doing the play calling. Brad Salem moves from running back coach to qb coach.
