Florida State, Boise State agree to two game series

05:51 PM ET 03.06 | The Florida State Seminoles will make a rare appearance out west, as they have agreed to a home and home series with the Boise State Broncos. The two teams will play in 2019 in Tallahassee, and go out to Boise for a game in 2020. For Boise State, it's yet another high profile early season matchup, following games against Virginia Tech, Oregon, Michigan State, and Georgia. However, it's a bit out of character for Florida State. Besides a yearly out of conference game against Florida, the Seminoles only major out of conference challenge in the past few years is a home and home series with Oklahoma in 2010 and 2011.

It's a good while off so who knows for sure but I would expect them to play a good game as long as Peterson is their coach. He is a very good coach. However, when the time comes I'll be rooting for your Seminoles!

Hopefully Boise State will have expanded their stadium by the time this game comes around. I know a proposal was put in to expand Bronco Stadium to at least 50, 000 - possibly more. I've always wanted to see a brand-name program play on the blue turf and put Boise's home-field advantage to the test. But, in my opinion, a big game doesn't look so edgy in front of only 35,000 fans, no matter who's playing. I'm not familiar with the financial ins-and-outs for both programs in a game like this, but I would think the more fans the better. Maybe a neutral site should be considered if Boise isn't able to expand their stadium by then. Although, I'm not sure if Boise would reap the same financial benefits if the game isn't played on their home turf, even if a neutral field offers more seating.

No worries. We'll play 'em in their crappy little stadium, on that hideous blue monstrosity they call a field...and we'll kick their little blue asses. Ohhhh, how I have wished for this!
