06:40 PM ET 03.06 | After taking a hit in the groin from the big man Sunday night, Los Angeles Clippers forward Blake Griffin was surprised that the NBA opted not to suspend Oklahoma City Thunder forward Serge Ibaka for his actions during the play. Late in a highly contested match-up on national television, Ibaka took a shot at Griffin's groin while tussling under the basket, earning a Flagrant 1 foul for the play. Many analysts expected Ibaka to earn a suspension for the hit, but he's only been levied a $25,000 fine and won't be sidelined for his actions. "It's kind of a mess. It's kind of a tough situation. Whatever the NBA wants to do and however they want to handle it, we'll let them handle it that way," Griffin said.

The NBA are cherry picking on what equates to a suspension.

KG wasn't suspended either when he did this.

Was he fined?

Wade is a wannabe thug. The league protects his whiny ****.

Griffin is a dirty player. Ibaka was probably just retaliating for something Griffin did to him earlier. The league office realized that but had to do something so a fine was levied.

perhaps, but the league needs to be consistent with the punishment. One nut shot shouldn't be greater than another. It all hurts the same.

or Stern didn't want Ibaka to miss a nationally televised game vs the Lakers.

Come on Blake and Serge! Lets move on and just love one another. It's our only chance!

I disagree. He might flop, but flopping is okay for the offensive side of basketball...

That is a punk-A _ _ thing to do. I'd say he needs to man up but he is a real B!
