08:08 AM ET 03.07 | P.J. Carlesimo decided it was time to give Mirza Teletovic a chance, which left Reggie Evans or Kris Humphries on the bubble. Based off the success the Nets have had with Evans starting at power forward since Carlesimo took over as interim head coach, that left Humphries as the odd man out. "Our starting lineup ... I'm not saying the group is perfect, but we're nine over .500, pretty much with this group starting," Carlesimo told The Post Wednesday night. ... While Evans finished with 16 rebounds and Teletovic was active in 14 minutes -- the vast majority coming in the first half -- Humphries found himself rooted to the bench, which he didn't move from for the full 48 minutes.

Blame It On Kim, Bro.

They should have moved him before the deadline for some more scoring off the bench.

The 'big booty' is refurbished and not something you take home to mom. Being an NBA player he should be able to do better put better put a glove on it.

he's been out played - so he sits
work hard in practice (if he cares) and be a good teammate and things will turn around
Mope and you will be marburied

well Kris is still getting paid nicely though while he warms the bench!

This coach Carlisimo is suspect as well. He is not an easy coach to play for. I'm not defending Sprewell's actions, but PJ must be the only coach who has had his own player physically attack him. He's always grumpy, angry-looking, and seems to have a bad attitude.

GOOD! You don't WANT an "easy" coach to play for!
I'm no PJ fan, but you know who the other not "easy" to play for coaches are? Pop! JVG! Slaon!

I'll personally take a coach that has the guts to bench a $10M per player based on what best serves the team, and not worry about names or ....in this case, ex's names.

This has to be a personality conflict between Hump and Cerlisimo. I don't think its his production, or lack thereof. He is averaging about half of his stats from last year. But, he is also averaging about half of his playing time. In theory, if his time doubled his stats would double. Those stats would then equal the numbers he was putting up to get his latest contract.

I love Humphries and PJ Carlissimo. They are both lovely.

Once he gets his time machine working, he will fix all of the bad decisions of his past!

March 7, 2013  03:05 PM ET

If only the Nets had a time machine...
They'd be able to take back that awesome contract extension they gave him!
