08:19 AM ET 03.07 | For the first time since 2008, the Cardinal swept Cal in their season series, and they did so in explosive fashion. Given up for near-dead with a 3-5 record in the second half of the Pac-12 season, Stanford busted out of its funk Wednesday night. The intensity of the cross-bay rivalry went overboard with five minutes left when a scuffle broke out that resulted in six technical fouls and the ejection of two players and three assistant coaches. With Cal poised to take over first place in the regular-season finale, the Cardinal surprised their doubters and jolted the Bears 83-70, disappointing a crowd of 11,877 -- Cal's first sellout of the season -- on Senior Night at Haas Pavilion.
