12:30 PM ET 03.07 | Miami Dolphins offensive tackle Jake Long has a "clean bill of health," according to Yahoo's Jason Cole. Long got the healthy diagnosis from Dr. James Andrews this week. Long, 27, played in just 12 games last year because of a triceps injury. Andrews said Long is "in the best shape he has seen the player in years," according to Cole. Long is scheduled to become a free agent next week. He was the No. 1 overall pick in the 2008 NFL Draft by the Dolphins. He was one of the game's best, young left tackles over his first three years in the league, but injuries have made him a question mark in the Dolphins' eyes.

If the Dolphins keep him, he'll miss some games due to injury. If they let him go, he'll be relatively healthy. Sometimes you just need to let someone else take the risk.

Does EVERY NFL player go to Dr. James Andrews for diagnosis and treatment? What are they all going to do when he kicks?
