03:57 PM ET 03.07 | Chicago Blackhawks forward Patrick Sharp will not travel with the team to Colorado for their game against the Avalanche due to an upper-body injury. The team announced on Thursday afternoon that Sharp would not be traveling, but did not specify his status or the length of time he is expected to miss due to the injury. Sharp appeared to sustain the injury during a battle along the boards in Wednesday ngiht???s game against the Avalanche. Coming away from the scrum visibly in pain, he immediately let the playing surface and headed to the team???s dressing room. He would not return to the game.

Maybe Hossa will be available...you know things are going well for a team when the game winning goal comes from Carcillo and it's his first of the year.

I saw the hit and it looked like a shoulder issue when he went off

The only problem that I see with their streak is that the Hawks didn't have to face any Eastern Conference teams so, it lacks legitimacy. I'd like to see them beat the Bruins, the Pens, the Habs and other in the EC to make it legit. The Western Conference has been weak and in disarray so far. The Hawks have been opportunistic in feasting on bottom feeders.

Bottom feeders. Always reminds me of my buddies that came back from 'Nam and told how the fish used to hang around the outhouses that hung over the river. 500 feet down were the guys fishing.
