University of Texas considering selling alcohol at sporting events

06:19 PM ET 03.07 | The University of Texas might be looking to further monetize their athletic programs by allowing for the sale of alcohol at football, basketball and baseball games. Texas athletic director DeLoss Dodds indicated discomfort at the possibility of beer and liquor at Longhorn sporting events, saying "it doesn't quite feel right, but ... it might be safer to serve it than not serve it." Dodds also stated that baseball might get the first test run before expanding it to the major non-revenue sports.

Yeah I don't like it. I quit attending Cowboy games years ago because of the drunk and disorderly factor.
The "numbers" supporting this proposal were most likely submitted by drunk college kids.

GTH, LOL, yeah I was thinking the same thing. Maybe they can do like they do at Seahawk stadium!!! I went to a game last year and ordered a beer, the guy said show me you I.D.. I said come on now, I'm an old Man!!! It doesn't make any difference how old your are, they check everyone, period!!!!
