08:03 AM ET 03.08 | It isn't often teams move such a high draft pick so quickly, but Sacramento wheeled Thomas Robinson, the No. 5 pick in the 2012 Draft. SLAM: How do you feel about being traded in your rookie year? TR: I don't know ... happy, disrespected. Somewhere between those two. I feel like I got dumped. That's how I feel. Bad breakup. So I'm gonna make my ex hate me the next time they see me. SLAM: What was the first thought in your mind when you learned that you'd be going to the Rockets? TR: One of my closest friends plays here (Marcus Morris) but then he called me and told me he getting traded, too, so I was like, "Who else getting traded?" He told me two power forwards, so I saw opportunity.

Houston got rid of their jumpshooting PF's for a traditional slasher close to basket slasher type scorer/rebounder. Houston will not be able to spread the floor the same but should be slightly better inside. I think Sacremento was doing anything they felt necessary to get under the cap and Robinson was a casualty. They got Patterson back who can actually stetch the floor and comes with a cheaper salary.

He's a pretty big body and big guys usually take some time to figure out the NBA style of play. It just seems kind of dumb to dump your top pick this early in his career. Like jgb said why him?

He should be happy that he's out of Sac-town and still being overpaid to play a game.

Why do you people say this? Comments like these are the dumbest things ever typed. Look at the revenue generated by the NBA as an organization, then compare it with the revenue the players make (they actually are the product). If anything they are and always will be vastly underpaid. Get a clue

To say that the other poster's comments are the dumbest things ever typed is a very dumb thing to say. Yes, the NBA also makes too much, but writing that paying back-up players more than a million per year to play at GAME is not dumb at all.

So exactly how much should the NBA make? Dude get over yourself, you aren't qualified to decide how much money someone should be making. We live in a society ran by the order of capitalism. If you want the NBA to make less money then organize a strike among viewers or fans of every city with a team (among other things). Till you do that shut up, sit down, and fall back. This won't go the way you think it should. Move around
