08:05 AM ET 03.08 | For one, Skip Schumaker is left scratching his head. After playing behind Kyle Lohse the last five seasons with the Cardinals, [Schumaker] never imagined Lohse would go into March without signing somewhere as a free agent. "I'm shocked," Schumaker said Thursday morning in the Dodgers clubhouse. "He's a proven winner. He hasn't missed a start the last two years. He's been dominant. And he's not a power guy, so he's not going to struggle if he loses a little velocity as he gets older." ... Schumaker came to the Dodgers in a December trade. Back in December, it seemed like it would be just a matter of time before Lohse signed somewhere. He still hasn't, and by all indications still hasn't come close to finding a team.

That tag that is on him requiring a team to give up their 1st round pick is a big issue

55 most people are shock that you are still in the majors and for your boy 26 Skippy you must have forgotten that your former club offered him 13 million this year and he walk.

Kyle is jobless because his asking price is too high.

He should lower that number and come back to the Cards, even though the Cards look set to move on with their young talent vs over paying for vets.

This is reason # 101 why StL is one of the most consistent franchises in Baseball.

Keep asking for the moon with that moron agent of yours and you'll be waiting a whole lot longer.

His agent over played his hand.

I think Boras does that a lot with his second and third tier guys. I understand why the top players want Boras as their agent, but I don't understand why the second tier guys do. They often seem like an afterthought to Boras.

wiseup: Loshe and Boras are both losing big bucks. Teams are not going to pay what boras is expecting for Loshe. Loshe would be better off telling Boras to take a hike and work out his own deal. If Loshe stays with Boras Loshe will be watching season at home on TV. Loshe is regretting not taking St.Louis' offer after last season.

Exactly. Say you'll sign for $8 mil and 2 years, and see what reaction you get.
