Frustrated Ortiz not sure when he'll play again

08:09 AM ET 03.08 | Generally, optimism reigns during Spring Training, but not these days in Fort Myers for David Ortiz. [Ortiz] looked and sounded down [Thursday] about lingering soreness and discomfort that has now spread to both lower legs. After taking batting practice at JetBlue Park, Ortiz spoke about his condition, conceding there was no way he could play a game now. "This (expletive) has been driving me crazy," said Ortiz. ... He seems resigned to having to do more waiting. "I've got no choice. It's not like I can change based on what they say," said Ortiz. "It's an injury. I'm not a doctor, thank God. Just keep on talking to people that have had that injury before and they say the same thing. It takes a while. That's about it."

We get to work at 7:30. They curtailed ops at 7:42. So, I'm at work. I had no trouble getting here because I know how to drive in it, but a lot of people were off the road.

two things:
1) Those of us who live in New England live in a place where it **** has a real winter and sometimes it gets snowy and icy. How can you not know how to drive it?
2) For all those with SUVs and four wheel drive vehicles. Yeah you can go fast in the snow but guess what ya gotta stop sooner or later or at least sometimes apply the brakes going around a curve. Four wheel drive means bupkus in snow and ice then.
