Scoring drought in Doughty head

08:16 AM ET 03.08 | While Jake Muzzin has four goals, Drew Doughty is still sitting on zero after 22 games -- something of which he was all too aware entering Thursday's game against the Stars. "It's frustrating, obviously," the defenseman said. "It's in my head too often. I want to get that goal really bad. It's not that I'm cheating or doing anything different to try and get it. I'm still just playing my solid defensive game and if I have that opportunity, I'll try to put one in the net. Yeah, it's frustrating." ... For what it's worth, Doughty had two goals through 21 games last season. He seems to be playing better recently with a plus-6 rating over the past six games.

for all the dough he makes, he should be so filled with dought
as rough as things are, he should be able to plough through

(and you wonder why people have so much trouble learning this language!)

We'd all take him on our teams. LA as a whole had a bad start, but beginning to round into shape at the right time.

What do they expect from a guy that has "Doughy" in his name?

And just as the Hawks will start to go the other way. The Hawks shot their wad waaaay too early. Now, everybody is gunning for them and they're getting beat up.

As for Doughty...wasnt it Argos trying to say that he's just as good as Bourque LMFAO.

I???d rather have Drew scoreless and play hard every shift (Craig Simpson said that he plays the busiest shifts in NHL, every shift he???s prominent) than score and suck at everything else (aka Justin Schultz). Doughty is still one of the better D in the league. You can still win the Norris without scoring a ton.

WHY CAN'T WE BEAT THEM :(

At this point i'll gladly take a point. I know they're one of the 3 best in the league, but come on the damn backup was in!

*AHEM* Dion Phaneuf would be second on that list, if you wouldn't mind...
