Abraham meeting with 49ers?

03:16 PM ET 03.08 | John Abraham could provide a boost for the San Francisco 49ers as they look to improve just slightly on last year's NFC Championship run. The 35-year-old defensive end is rumored to be visiting the team Friday after meeting with the Seattle Seahawks.
Abraham has left his mark on the NFL in his career, now entering its 14th season, with four all-Pro appearances to his name and nearing the all-time top ten in sacks. But he's never won a Super Bowl. After a relatively productive year with the Atlanta Falcons, he could be a great fit splitting snaps with Ahmad Brooks across from Aldon Smith in the Niners' 3-4 defense. Between the Seahawks and the 49ers, it looks like Abraham is trying to sign with a playoff squad after losing to San Francisco in the NFC Championship game in January.
