NHLPA consents to realignment

03:58 PM ET 03.08 | The NHL Players??? Association has consented to the realignment proposal from the NHL on Thursday night. Executive director Donald Fehr stated that the players will agree to the terms of the proposal through the 2014-15 season, but will revisit it after that time. Under the proposal, the NHL will be restructured into four divisions over two conferences. The two divisions in the Eastern Conference will have eight teams, while the two grouping in the west will have seven teams. This was believed to be a sticking point for the union, as it creates unequal opportunities for teams to make the playoffs.

why can't they just leave well enough alone?....no, it's not perfect now, but neither is their realignment.
NHL this season is like a Peyton Place of drama, trading yes~no~maybe~won't go's, injuries, and now realignment.
