Texas hires Suddes as director of player personnel

12:20 PM ET 03.08 | The Texas Longhorns have hired Patrick Suddes as direcror of player personnel. Suddes moves to Texas from Alabama, where he spent the last eight years, including six under head coach Nick Saban. Most recently, he served as associate director of football operations for the Crimson Tide. Suddes will serve as point on all recruiting efforts, and coordinate Texas football camps and high school coaching clinics, according to the Longhorns' official Twitter feed.

rumors are that he's actually a mole of Saban's to get better inroads to Texas recruits.
On a serious note, hope its not the Sabanization of UTx. Just a better talent evaluator

Suddes is going to have to work harder at TX to see the same level of success. TX rarely cuts scholarship players, oversigns, grayshirts or medical redshirts. He's also going to find that there is a much smaller staff at TX with much less on-campus recruiting presence.
