03:55 PM ET 03.08 | Signing a restricted free agency is quite a cost: not only do you have to pay the player in question, you also have to give up picks to the team you're signing him from. But Ian Rapoport of NFL.com reports that there's definite interest around the league in signing Victor Cruz.

The Giants have the first right to sign Cruz, but if that doesn't work out, he becomes a free agent, meaning teams can sign him to an offer sheet. If the Giants choose to match, they keep Cruz. If they don't, the team gets Cruz but has to give up a first-round pick. However, Cruz - who had his second straight 1,000 yard season after going undrafted in 2010 - is probably worth it.

There's 31 other teams who might disagree with your opinion. He's a very good receiver.
