03:16 PM ET 03.09 | Free agent big man Greg Oden has been in negotiations with the Cavaliers for a little while now, which made his appearance at the team's game on Friday night against the Grizzlies all the more interesting. Oden attended the game as a guest of Grizzlies point guard and longtime friend Mike Conley, whose father is the center's agent. Oden wound up in the seats of Cavs owner Dan Gilbert and expressed his continued interest in signing with Cleveland. "I live in Ohio. It's home now," he said. "They have a great organization and I really do think they're up and coming." The Cavs have reportedly offered Oden a two-year deal with a team option for a third year, but the injury prone big man is thinking about waiting until the summer when the demand for his services may increase. He hasn't played in an NBA game since Dec. 5, 2009 due to a long history of knee problems.

So, he was amazingly offered a two, possibly three year contract and "is thinking about waiting until the summer when the demand for his services may increase".
