08:21 PM ET 03.09 | The Miami Dolphins have emerged as the favorite to sign free agent wide receiver Mike Wallace. Regarded by many as the top wide receiver available in the free agent market, Wallace is looking for a big pay day, and could get offers in the area of $12 million a year. The Dolphins just re-signed receiver Brian Hartline to a new deal, but still have plenty of room to add another weapon to a thin position. Wallace supposedly wants to play somewhere warm, and considering how much cap space Miami has, it seems like a good match.

There also has to be something to distract the eyes from that gowdawefull uniform.

Look at his numbers... his best year was 2010. Despite the Steelers trying to make him a featured part of the offense, his total yards, yards per catch, yards per game and TD totals have all gotten worse since then.

He knows he's fast, and he seems to believe that greatness is something you possess, rather than something you work your ass off to earn. I doubt a big paycheck is going to do much to improve his work ethic.

Wallace is consistently double covered, which opens up your running game as well as underneath passing routes
