10:46 AM ET 03.10 | Coach Mike D'Antoni tried to give his team the best chance to win Friday night in a close overtime battle against the Toronto Raptors. One of his choices was to keep Dwight Howard on the floor when the Lakers were behind with little time left -- needing a three-pointer to stay in the game. Both Kobe Bryant and Steve Nash came through for the Lakers, who won a nail-biter in overtime, 118-116. Some coaches might have pulled Howard off the court to give the Lakers four or five shooters. Instead, D'Antoni said he'll live and die with Howard on the floor.

Didn't Phil pull Shaq, once in a while in crunch time, because Shaq couldn't shoot free throws????

QUOTE(#19):

In other words....Dwight don't get into foul trouble. The problem is that the big men pick up fouls trying to erase mistakes at the basket. Other guys like Nash have to do a better job of slowing their guys down. I love Nash but maybe he should get less minutes and a younger guard play more. Kobe is doing a lot of the PG work anyways. The Lakers need a bit more defense.

not sure if they should mess with their rotation at this stage
they have been playing well and pau is coming back soon, whom they will have to get back in, which will cause some havoc initially
