Mavs eye replacement for Dominique Jones

02:50 PM ET 03.10 | The Dallas Mavericks are searching for a player to fill their 15th spot on the roster. On Saturday, the team waived guard Dominique Jones, whose lack of attention to detail bothered Dallas head coach Rick Carlisle, according to the Dallas Morning News. It's possible that the Mavericks fill the opening with a younger D-League player. Chris Wright, a guard for the Iowa Energy, is one reported option. So are Texas Legends point guards Justin Dentmon and Sean Singletary. "From an organizational standpoint, it's a move that gives us some flexibility to the end of the year and we can look at some different guys," coach Rick Carlisle said. "That was the thinking. It was time to make this move."
