08:21 AM ET 03.11 | Gary Andersen wanted to create a family of sorts at Wisconsin, and he's gone about doing just that in replacing Bret Bielema. The most important aspect of becoming a family was building relationships with the players already in the program. "I've learned to love them in a very short period of time," Andersen said last week. Yes, but are the Badgers loving him back? ... By all accounts, that has happened. "I love him; he's been great so far," senior guard Ryan Groy said. "Everything he says, he keeps his word. He says how he's going to be straight forward with you and at the same time he'll get after you, but it's all good stuff. He knows what he's doing. He knows what he's coaching."
