'Fragile' Oilers held players-only meeting

08:24 AM ET 03.11 | Having returned to the lineup Sunday night, Edmonton captain Shawn Horcoff had already made an impact on the Oilers a day earlier. [Horcoff] chaired a players only meeting on Saturday, the first of the season for the floundering group. "We addressed a couple of issues," said Horcoff. "We seem to be a little bit fragile right now. We came on this trip knowing it was going to be pivotal but we still have an opportunity here to salvage a decent trip and still give us a chance going forward. There's still half a season left. It's not over for us yet." ... Horcoff said there has been a steady decline in the team's mental state, which has been obvious by the way the players respond when something goes wrong in games.

Well, whatever they did or said, it worked. They kicked the Hawks assets last night. 6-5! Holy Molly!
I wish my 'fragile" Wings would hold some kind of meeting. Maybe invite a Televangelist. They need a miracle. :-(
