04:29 PM ET 03.11 | Toronto Maple Leafs forward Joffrey Lupul participated in practice on Monday for the first time since fracturing his forearm on Jan. 23. Lupul sustained the injury after being hit in the arm by a slap-shot attempt from Dion Phaneuf. Lupul attempted wrist shots, backhand shots and one-timer attempts during a solo session before Maple Leafs??? practice. After doing some skating drills, he ran a few line rushes with the team, the first time such an occurrence had happened since his injury. After 30 minutes, he left the ice for the day. According to head coach Randy Carlyle, Lupul is not yet cleared for contact.
