04:34 PM ET 03.11 | Ottawa Senators forward Milan Michalek has experienced a setback in regards to lingering issues with his knee, according to head coach Paul MacLean on Monday. Michalek was forced to miss 10 games due to the knee issue before returning for two road games last week (against the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs). After practicing on Sunday, Michalek was unavailable to practice on Monday. MacLean informally labeled Michalek as day-to-day. The issue that arises from this development is whether Michalek will require surgery on the area. He already stated that he needed to undergo a procedure at the end of the season but wanted to battle through it. That might not be a possibility, but at this point, it???s just speculation.

Agree with you. Also a credit to the guys that take the ice every night. They don't quit and should be proud of what they've accomplished in the face of their continuing bad luck with injuries. I wish them well.

They're not the only ones resorting to Hocus Pocus to keep it going. Blame it on the shortened, compressed season. So ..... ultimately .... it's their own fault .... for sitting out over half a year.

'Sitting out' being the key word.
