04:35 PM ET 03.11 | Montreal Canadiens forward Brandon Prust is expected to miss 10 days due to a mild shoulder sprain, according to head coach Michel Therrien on Sunday afternoon. Prust sustained the injury in Saturday night???s game against the Tampa Bay Lightning. Therrien described the issue as mild and seemed hopeful that he wouldn???t miss too much time while recovering. If the projection is accurate, Prust would only miss three games and potentially could return on March 21 against the New York Islanders. Upon missing Sunday's game against the Florida Panthers, Prust's streak of 223-consecutive games played was snapped.

Prust is THE BEST!

I know, I know, insightful input.

Just as long as Carey Price isn't the one missing an extended period of games they'll be all right!

I have to work sometime.....

Little Gallagher will step up. Kid can play.

But no Prust will help determine the cut of the rest of the team's sails.

They paid him way too much but the Rangers miss this guy. Their PK has taken a huge step backwards without him

If Bouillon hadn't gone and manifested his inner Lars Lindgren it could well have been a shutout for Budaj.

Canucks fans will recall a game back in the day when the Swede picked the corner on a stunned Canucks goalie (no it wasn't Robooby although he is stunned). It was late in a game they were leading and had no business winning aginst the Oilers..

Game resulted in a tie I think?

IMO, he was the straw that stired the Habs drink. They have other pieces but, they'll miss him. How did the Flames, Coyotes and Rags ever let that guy go?

Yup, gonna be an interesting game against the Sens Wednesday. The team needs to shake it off and focus and they should be OK.

I dont think they did. He brings an element that the Habs have been missing for over a decade. I consider it a great value. Hockey doesnt just come down to goals and assists. This guy just arrived and he has established himself as the heart and soul of the club...

Prust?
