Allan Bridgford transfers from Cal

07:03 PM ET 03.11 | Quarterback Allan Bridgford announced Monday that he is transferring from the Cal Bears and will look to continue his career elsewhere. Bridgford did not appear likely to win the Cal starting job based on the early returns from spring practice, and with just one year of eligibility remaining, he'll try to find a situation where he can start immediately. Bridgford appeared in six games for the Bears last season and completed 45.6 percent of his passes with one touchdown and three interceptions.
