08:09 AM ET 03.12 | Most discussions about bad contracts in the NBA come down to Amar'e Stoudemire and Joe Johnson. [They're] like the Jay-Z and Kanye of atrocious contracts. Joe makes more money, but Stoudemire's contract is 100 percent uninsured. Joe is a better and more durable player, but Stoudemire's contract expires one year earlier. Neither contract could be traded under any circumstances. ... Johnson gets the hammer for one reason: for the 2015-16 season, after Stoudemire's contract comes off New York's cap, Brooklyn has to pay Joe Johnson nearly $25 million. The exact number: $24,893,863. They're also on the hook for $31.15 million of [Gerald Wallace and Deron Williams] that year.

We all know it is a bad contract, but it is pathetic that some people are happy a player is hurt and can't fulfil that contract.

didn't see the game last night- thank goodness- but when I looked at the score- my next reaction was to look at how many minutes melo played on that knee-
when I saw 34 I was NOT happy.
