Doc doesn't know which Celtics will show in playoffs

08:10 AM ET 03.12 | Entering Tuesday night's matchup with the Bobcats, the Celtics remained, to some degree, two teams -- one very good and one significantly less so since losing Rajon Rondo. [They] can mask some of their weaknesses and take best advantage of their depth when they push the pace. But when games break down to a halfcourt tug o' war, the Celts are often lacking against teams that can better exploit matchups. Doc Rivers said as much when trying to project what he's seeing now to the postseason. ... [Said Rivers:] "Not having that playmaker will make a difference then because the game slows. It makes you execute. So we'll see then. But this team is capable of going deep and doing some things. I really believe that."

At best a second round exit is in the cards. Father time wins again.

2nd??

If they are the 6 seed, they are playing NY or Indy Round 1 then the other in Round 2.

Good luck with that...

That's true of ANY team in the NBA. No one is gonna stop the Heat. Might as well start the next season.

I dont think they are afraid to play the Celtics especially since they are rondo less and rondo gave them a headache. Looking at the playoffs from last year it was clear fathertime caught up with Pierce and Garnett especially they couldnt keep up to beat them 4 games.
