01:28 PM ET 03.12 | The Detroit Lions and Arizona Cardinals are the top suitors for Reggie Bush, but the Lions are expected to win the battle and sign the free agent running back. The Cardinals released Beanie Wells on Monday to make room for Bush, but on Tuesday Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk declared the Lions the "likely winners." Similar reports came out on Tuesday, with NFL experts predicting Detroit as the landing spot for the former Dolphin. Bush, 28, spent his last two seasons in Miami as the top running back, gaining 2,072 yards on the ground and adding 78 receptions for 588 yards. It is as a receiving threat that he would be most useful with the Lions.
