04:37 PM ET 03.12 | San Jose Sharks defenseman Brent Burns is expected to return to the lineup on Tuesday night against the St. Louis Blues. If he does return, it will be Burns??? first game since Feb. 23. Interestingly enough, Burns might not be playing defense. Instead, he might be acting as a winger on the team???s third line. During practice on Monday, Burns took reps on the pairing because head coach Todd McLellan stated that he could skate more than if he practiced on defense. On Tuesday, it was all but confirmed that he would start the game at forward. He is expected to play some defense, likely on the power play.

He'll play at forward? Obviously Burns doesn't want to get burned.

Unlike a former number 88 that wore orange and black, the Sharks coaching staff better remind him to keep his head up when crossing the neutral zone.
