08:15 AM ET 03.13 | Zack Greinke opened with some disheartening news for Dodgers fans on Tuesday. [Greinke said] he didn't know whether he will be able to make his first scheduled start of the regular season for the Dodgers. Pitching coach Rick Honeycutt wouldn't speculate. Manager Don Mattingly said he thought Greinke would face the San Francisco Giants on April 2, but acknowledged that was only because he hadn't been told otherwise. "Anything that you are all writing, I think, is premature," Greinke said. "Nothing's 100% sure either way." A day after visiting team physician Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles, Greinke returned to the Dodgers clubhouse saying he knew little about his sore right elbow.

Zack's arm is fine, they're just not sure he's going to be able to find the stadium in time.
Zackie thinks his GPS is a Nintendo 3DS.

And so it starts ... before the start ...

This will surely upset TRUTH, for Greinke is his favorite pitcher other than Scott Kazmir.

I know. He'll be devastated.

This guy has the mental toughness of a 3 year old. The Dodgers will regret signing him.

Haters go home, get a life. My boy got a little tenderness. Happens to 1 of4 pitchers every spring. Nothing to see here. Just move along.

Because young girls do get weary, we should all try a little tenderness.

The soft spot on top of his head is a little tender because his teammates keep poking it.

wiseup:spring training is barely half over. most teams are not too worried about some soreness with arms with pitching staff, or Pulhos or Jeter right now. If these are problems April 1 Then Management will be concerned. Last year Pulhos struggled with his offense in April and May. The middle of June Puljhos found his stroke and put up typical pulhos numbers from mid June to end of season.

March 14, 2013  11:48 AM ET

wiseup: With Greinke the soreness in is arm should subside. Greinke 's problem is his mental tuffness. If things don't go greinke's way, he crumbles.
