USC's lead QB candidate sidelined

08:21 AM ET 03.13 | Thanks to a lull in spring practice sessions, USC's quarterback competition, which has hit a snag, may resume later this month. Max Wittek, arguably the front-runner for the job, has been out this week because of a sprained MCL in his right knee. Wittek, who got hurt during Saturday's practice while serving as a holder on kicks, walked around the field Tuesday with a support sleeve on his knee and with a slight limp. He didn't participate in any drills. It's not known when Wittek might be able to return. USC practices again on Thursday and Saturday, then takes a week off for spring break, so it's possible Wittek might not practice again until March 26. "Nothing is torn, so that's good," said the Mater Dei High graduate.

JK, good morning my Ram friend!!!! Yes I see where they signed TE Jared Cook and it looks like Jake Long will sign (if he passes his physical ) with them as well. They can put Long in as LT and slide Saffold over to RT. Yes they are moving some good moves and I don't think they are done yet!!! :-)

They let Amendola and Gibson go, but I don't think that is too big of a loss on either. Amendola stays injured too much. They need to pick up some OL and receivers in the draft. And maybe a later round RB.

They will pick up a stud WR in the first round!!! Maybe a Tavon Austin, Keenan Allen or Cordardelle Patterson. I think they are planning on picking up a RB in the 2/3 round.!!!
