Miller's 'days are numbered' in Buffalo

08:23 AM ET 03.13 | No player over the past few years has been more a fabric of the Sabres than Ryan Miller. There are some rumblings that might change, though. During the first intermission of Tuesday's Vancouver Canucks-Columbus Blue Jackets game, Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos reported that Miller's "days are numbered" in Buffalo. The number of days might be fairly high, however, as Kypreos notes that a weak market could force the Sabres to wait until this summer or even the 2013-14 season to make a move. The concept of moving Miller probably seems outrageous because there are many times when he appears to be one of the only bright spots for a fledgling Sabres squad.

Still trying to recover from getting his face bounced off the ice vs the Rangers...

Why do I get the feeling that the rest of the Sabres locker room is going to party like it's 1999 when this tool hits the road?

There'd be a big space in the Sabres' whine cellar.

Then they'd need to add square footage.

I'd prefer keeping him as far from Toronto as possible, tyvm.

Seems he would be a good fit in Detroit...not unless they like Luongo Jr in Detroit.

Jimmy Howard is a UFA at season's end, but I guarantee Ken Holland would rather re-sign the 28-year-old Howard for half the cost of the 32-year-old Miller's $6.25M/y deal.
