09:21 AM ET 03.13 | That sound you just heard was USC fans breathing a sigh of relief. We mentioned over the weekend that USC Trojans offensive stars Max Wittek and Marqise Lee both suffered knee injuries during the team's first live scrimmage of the spring and we are now beginning to learn more about their injuries. Wittek received the more serious injury of the two, with the quarterback diagnosed with a sprained MCL in his right knee. For star wideout Marqise Lee, it is better news. The wide receiver suffered what is just being referred to as a minor knee injury. Lee was in full pads for Tuesday's practice during warm ups, but left the field during drills to go lift weights with the other injured players.

You may as well UPS that crystal football to Heritage Hall, and save yourselves the holiday postage. And just cancel the season altogether. I don't think I can stand another humiliating Notre Dame season anyway. It's going to take years to forget how bad they stunk up the association in their 20th bowl loss in a row.

Ha ha ha ha,,, I can see coach Kiffins walking papers from here, yes its going to be a long and lonely road back to recovery for the Trojans. But dont worry, the Irish fans have patience.

With this much coverage of these 2 injuries on TnR, I'm beginning to suspect USCw has secretly joined the SEC, but the word just isn't out yet.
