Budinger cleared to practice

04:17 PM ET 03.13 | The Minnesota Timberwolves were informed Tuesday morning that small forward Chase Budinger has been cleared to participate in "full-contract" practices, another key step in his recovery from knee issues. Acquired over the summer from the Rockets, Budinger appeared in just six games with the T-Wolves before suffering a torn lateral meniscus ligament in his left knee Nov. 10. He had surgery to repair the tear just days later and has been rehabbing since. After the procedure was completed, a timetable was set to have Budinger back sometime this month, but it's still uncertain when he'll actually be able to take the court with his teammates.
