Gasol nearing a return?

04:18 PM ET 03.13 | Nearing his return from a torn plantar fascia in his right foot, Los Angeles Lakers big man Pau Gasol participated in the team's shootaround before Tuesday's game against Orlando. Though he was only seen taking jumpers, head coach Mike D'Antoni was optimistic about when Gasol will be able to return to the lineup. "He's starting to run now and he feels pretty good," D'Antoni said Tuesday evening. "It's six weeks next Tuesday, so it was six-to-eight, so it's close." Gasol hasn't played since Feb. 5 against Brooklyn and didn't participate in extensive basketball-related activities before Tuesday.
