Bargnani out for season

04:21 PM ET 03.13 | Adding the latest chapter to a frustrating year for the former top pick, Toronto Raptors big man Andrea Bargnani will miss the remainder of the season with an elbow injury, the team announced Wednesday. For a player that once appeared to be the cornerstone of Canada's lone franchise, it's difficult to imagine this season going much worse for Bargnani. Before seeing his season end prematurely, the Italian big man battled other injuries, trade rumors and ineffectiveness, posting his worst scoring figures since his second season in the league. If the rumors are to believed, this injury could signify the end of the road for Bargnani in Toronto, as the Raptors will likely be aggressive in moving his contract this summer.

Time for a change of scenery..like over-seas-not-NBA-type scenery.

for real, which team would want him? How does he contribute? I would give him 10 minutes max.

Kentucky could use him with Noel out.

"Sucks" is kind of a harsh word... Though I do agree that he definitely should not have been a top pick and a 7 footer averaging 4 rebounds is a bit pathetic...

Our Canadian brethren can now exhale and say Hell Yeah....

You're a hating troll that has probably never seen him play, so I will not dignify your ignorant comment with a response--OH CRAP, I JUST DID!!!

The Bulls wanted him.

And I really hope they don't pursue him. He's owed $23 million over the next two seasons.....and it can be argued that he's not worth half that.

It's not just the rebounds.....although that's a big part of his failures.

This is a guy couldn't guard a tree if it swayed in the breeze.
-
And he's supposed to be a shooter......but he' a 30% shooter from 3-point range over the past two seasons.
-
This guy is Dirk Noviski.......without the 'game' or the heart.
